January Happenings in Littleton

Updated: Dec 28, 2019

Good morning all! It's the day after Christmas and we are back at it here in Littleton! I'm on my last cup of peppermint coffee to finish out the season, and then on to a new flavor to keep me going strong into the new year! We had such a fun time celebrating the holiday with our close friends and pets (Pics of all the precious dogs at the end)! We hope you had such a great holiday celebrating with family, friends, and of course delicious food!

Since January is only a few days away, here are some events going on all January long, so you can be in the know and prepare ahead of time. Check out what Littleton has to offer!

-Jan. 1st (Wednesday) New Year's Day 5k and Lazy Loop 1 Mile will be held at Blind Faith Brewing in Littleton at 10am-1pm. You know, not tooooo extensive for the 1st, in case you're still recovering from welcoming in the new year at midnight.

-Jan 5th (Sunday) Bend and Brew - Yoga and a Beer at Locavore Beer Works. Bring your mat and your first beer is included in your $15 ticket.

-Jan 6th (Monday) Learn to Use Your Serger. There's a lot of crafters out there, or want to be crafters that aren't sure how to start. This class will help you learn the basics of your Serger and the best part, it's free! Just bring your machine and accessories. 10am-1pm @ Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum.

-Jan 7th (Tuesday) Pub Masters Trivia at Tavern Littleton. Trivia is EVERY Tuesday 7:30-9:30pm. Think you know a lot? Put it to the test with some friends! Winner gets the prize of pride, and I vote they also have to buy a round for all their friends.

-Jan 8th (Wednesday) The Brewery Comedy Tour at High Plains Tap House at 7pm. Grab some beers and have some laughs

-Jan 9th (Thursday) Aurora Moon Wood Panel at Platte River Bar and Grill. 6:30-9:30pm. This seriously looks like such a fun painting project that you would love and be proud to hang up after you're finished! Tickets are $45 and include all of your painting materials, the canvas, and instruction... can't beat it.

-Jan 14th (Tuesday) Make a Purse Class. Love purses, bags, totes? Enjoy crafting? This is definitely something you should check out then! 10am-3:30pm at Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum, tickets are $25.

-Jan 18th (Saturday) Nature and Knitting Sessions at Roxborough State Park. Start with a nice hike to get you pumped, then head to the visitors center to knit some winter gloves. If you don't know how to knit, they will help teach you! You will need a park pass, which is an $8 entrance fee.

-Jan 24th (Friday) Chinese New Year Dance Party. Get dressed up and head to Adventures in Dance for ballroom, salsa, swing, and tango dancing. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. 8-9:30pm

There has to be something out of these events that has sparked your interest. Check it out and meet some new people and have fun! If you think there are any events that should be added or we should check out, let us know!
